摘要: The here described footprints have been collected by the member of the Geological party of the Bureau of Geology of Hebei province.
The right one shown on the plate I. is better preserved. The main characters are based upon this print. It composed by three digits II-IV and II is the shortest one. The other two are longer. Unfortunately the heel is not completely preserved. But as judged by the lateral border of II and IV the angle of the heel is estimated about 30 degrees.
In comparison with the footprints known in China, the Changpeipus cabonicus from Sungsankang coal mine Huinan, Kirin province is very close to the present specimen. However. The digit II of the Luanping is much shorter. We proposed to name this specimen as a new species Changpeipus luanpingeris sp. nov.
