报告摘要:The report will present new results from a collaborative project with Dr Mumtaz Yatoo and the University of Kashmir on the Neolithic of Kashmir with fresh data on early transmission of domesticated cereals from West Asia into China and from China towards the West.

Alison Betts教授简介:
Professor of Silk Road Studies at the University of Sydney. She has been working for around 25 years on the archaeology of Central Asia. Over the past ten years she has been engaged in collaborative fieldwork on the Bronze Age of Xinjiang with archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing. At present she is particularly interested in the transmission of early domesticated cereals from Western Asia into China.
