The living liss-amphibians, including frogs, salamanders and caecilians, add up to over 7500 species, as an important component of the modern fauna. Actually there was another kind of the lissamphibians living on Earth before Pliocene. They were albanerpetons. They happily lived in Europe and North American from Middle Jurassic to Pliocene. However, the fossil record in Asia is very poor. In this talk, Professor Susan Evans, from the University College London, will introduce these odd amphibians and their discovery in East Asia.
