2003年西北大学地质学系,地质学学士学位;2009年中国科学院大学,中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所,古生物学与地层学博士学位;2013年至2016年,美国自然历史博物馆,博士后;2009年至今,历任中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所助理研究员、副研究员,和研究员。《古脊椎动物学报》编委,美国自然历史博物馆古生物部客座研究员(Research Associate)。
主要从事古近纪哺乳动物和相关地层学的研究,尤其关注于奇蹄目高阶员分类体系的建立、奇蹄类中亚洲特有类群的起源和系统发育关系,古近纪奇蹄类在北美、亚洲以及欧洲之间的迁徙和交流,早期偶蹄类的起源、演化和迁徙,以及哺乳动物演化和气候环境变化的关系。目前已经发表研究论文20余篇,在《Bulletin of the American Museum of Natural History》发表英文专著一部。曾担任Memoir of JVP,JVP,Journal of Mammalian Evolution,Geobios,Geodiversitas,Plos One,和《古脊椎动物学报》等期刊审稿人。2021年荣获中国古生物学会“第五届青年古生物学奖”。
